UNEVEN PATH


Relationship and societal history — both leave behind objects that lend those histories emotional power in the present. This is a music video created for the local LA band Secret Flowers. 

It was a self-enforced challenge to see how visually still I could be in a music video, creating momentum via the constrast between shots rather than momentum within them.





IF U MUST DANCE


Having mostly worked in the documentary realm, it was a thrill to work on this music video with Sinosa.

The track is a feast for the ears, so we collaborated to make the video the same for the eyes.

It has been called “strangely alluring.”

LAS VEGAS SHOOTING

The day after the Las Vegas Route 91 shooting, I was sent to cover a city reeling with trauma. I met Royce.

Nearly six months later I followed him to his first political protest–advocating for gun control.
